Most of you have probably been seeing the status updates on our Facebook page in relation to PSSTV but may not actually know whats going on so here is the scoop.

With the launch of West TV or Channel 44 (revamp of the old Channel 31) in early April to the digital air waves, we were keen to support other local groups by watching their locally produced shows.  After a few weeks we noticed something, there 4×4 shows, there were restoration shows and there was even a high quality locally produced review show ZoomTV but nothing for the young modifying scene.  This needed to change.

After a team meeting and several days of reviewing car show formats from around the world professional and amateur productions we agreed that it would be possible to produce our own show.  With our proposal in had we visited our good friends at Hankook Tyres who were keen to jump on board as our major naming sponsor for the show and from there it was all go.

The show will run over a 13 week season and will consists of 7 weekly segments for 8 shows with 5 full episodes special features

Club Event

This is were we visit a local car club at one of there usual events be it a cruise, skid pan day, dyno day or any event they would like us to attend.  This is aimed to promote the club and perhaps increase membership as well as showcase some of Perth’s rides that are driven and not just locked up in a garage until the next show.

Tech Talk

Event Coverage

And of course we will be attending as many local events as we can and documenting them

As for the 5 special feature episodes you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what they are but lets just say they involve runways, rocket launchers and burn outs.

We are currently on target to air around September but will keep you posted when our date is confirmed.

However if you have a worthy car you think should be featured, a club you would like visited or even a business that would like to advertise within the show itself please do not hesitate to drop us a line psstv@perthstreetscene.com.au

Until then, keep on modifying.
